Personal Biography

Born and raised in New England I have had the privilege of fishing the finest waters both fresh and saltwater in the North East. It wasn't until 1986 when I purchased my first fly rod and retained the skills of fly fishing and fly tying. To this day I continue to hone my skills on some of my favorite fishing areas, such as the Farmington and Housatonic Rivers in Connecticut, the Salmon, Ausable and Catskill Rivers in New York, the Wood River in Rhode Island, and the many beautiful coastal waterways that blanket North Eastern New England.

Over the years It has been my dream to take my love for fly fishing further which is what brought me to start this venture. Here at Blackstone Fly Company we don't claim to do it all we claim to do it right. Provide finer fly and tackle shops with the finest fly patterns in the industry, flies tailored to local waters, and service that is second to none. All flies are produced with best of synthetics and genetic material such as Metz, and Hoffman hackles and tied to world famous chemically sharpened Daiichi hooks. Each and every pattern is inspected upon completion. Not a fly will ship unless it meets our standards. Just give our patterns a try next time you're out fly fishing.
